Man in critical condition after being shot at Phoenix park

A man was in critical condition after being shot Wednesday evening at a Phoenix park, police said.

The shooting occurred at Solano Park, near Missouri and 17th avenues, according to Phoenix police.

Police said the suspect fled the area after the shooting and was being sought by officers late Wednesday.
